Pierrat & Associés is composed of a dozen lawyers registered at the Paris Bar and co-directed by three partners, Sophie Viaris of Lesegno, Emmanuel Pierrat and Sirma Guner.
Two years after being sworn in before the Paris Court of Appeal in 1993, Emmanuel Pierrat started Cabinet Pierrat, quickly recognized for its expertise in copyright, media law and criminal law.
In 2003, in order to cope with the development of his firm’s activity, he joined forces with Sophie Viaris de Lesegno, his associate for several years, and they co-founded SELARL CABINET PIERRAT.
Together, they develop a clientele belonging to all facets of the cultural world (book, media, art, fashion, live shows, music and architecture sectors) that they advise and assist with literary and artistic property cases as well as general private law matters.
The diversification of its clientele and their legal needs have led CABINET PIERRAT to structure itself into two poles: a “culture and communication law” pole headed by Sophie Viaris de Lesegno and Emmanuel Pierrat and a “generalist, criminal law ” pole for which Sirma Guner, appointed partner in January 2019, became responsible the same year, alongside Emmanuel Pierrat.
In less than 30 years, PIERRAT & ASSOCIÉS has become a leading firm in intellectual property law, media and art market law, criminal and press law as well as in the defense of Fundamental Freedoms , while developing recognized expertise in family law, inheritance, civil and commercial liability, labor law and public law.
Our firm now includes a team of around fifteen professionals dedicated to advice and litigation with the aim of supporting, advising and defending its clients in all circumstances of their professional and private lives.
